Administration offices are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. 

• Miami Children’s Corporate Offices, Blue Lagoon, FL – new 76k ft2, two floor full plate tenant build-out for the relocation of headquarters. 

• Atria at Villages of Windsor, Boynton Beach, FL – located on a 22acre site, at 440k ft2 of Independent, Assisted Living 3 storey building and a separate single storey Memory Care building, totaling $82mil+ in construction. The community holds 340 units with full amenities including a 1mil theatre and 1mil full-service chef’s kitchen, and outdoor pool, gym, and salon. Architectural and Interior Design fees were 2.2mil+. 

• Windsor at Celebration, Celebration, FL – an 8acre site along the I-4 corridor in Celebration, with an $80mil+ turn-key budget housing 264 units broken up into a 6storey Independent building connected to a 4storey Assisted and Memory Care building. Full-service amenities including a $1mil+ theater, Sky Bar overlooking the Disney properties for the nightly fireworks and an indoor heated pool, with several lounges with Architectural and Interior Design fees at 2.2mil+. 

• Visa International, Blue Lagoon, FL – Client Leader for Gensler and all interior/exterior builds, for 5yrs+ Guardhouse and Security fence, Restrooms renovation, Global Customer Briefing Center, Visa Miami 

Cafeteria and Elevator refresh, Executive floors refresh, full building carpet replacement.

Projects included:

The project consisted of 702 Florida based branches under my direct supervision of 31 in Miami-Dade County. 

• HNTB Miami Corporate Offices, Doral, FL – new corporate offices totaling 18k ft2 in an existing office building, the total budget was $406k, the project had a large component of new IT infrastructure with multiple phases of construction due to the moving on the entire office personnel and IT department. 

• IndCor, Cintas, Miramar, FL – a new warehouse build-out of 18,000ft2 with a small office component of 4500ft2. The space also included a large racking system for the Cintas uniforms and seamstress corral. 

• IndCor, Comcast Laboratories Expansion, Miramar – a new warehouse build-out of 49k ft2 with a small testing laboratory 2,500ft2. 

• CBRE Boca Corporate Offices, Boca Raton, FL – second generation space build out of a corporate office at 9,900ft2 with a total budget of $1.5mil. This included a Gold LEED certification, with three large 

multi-media conference rooms, a “green” kitchen and office seating for 96 personnel. 

• Blue Lagoon, Gavilon, Miami, FL – first generation build in a Gold LEED certified building, the satellite trading office is 5,700ft2; acted as the local IT director for coordination of the server room for the daily 

trading of grain and wheat in all the world markets online. 

• Blue Lagoon, PepsiCo Global – first generation build in a Gold LEED certified building, the corporate office is for Americas and visiting PepsiCo team. The office size is 14,800ft2 with a cost of $1.8mil in open office area, meeting hall, full kitchen, with four large telepresence conference rooms, 32 glass offices and a 2,000ft2 IT room for the IT servers. 

• Motorola South American Headquarters, Plantation, Fl – management and design, ADA and code compliance, and meeting with the many 23 department team leaders for a consolidation of 1010 employees. The move is from a 2 storey 105,000ft2 buildings into an existing warehouse of 536,000ft2. The total budget for the consolidation effort is valued at $9.5mil to include new bathrooms, media conference rooms, laboratories, offices, town hall, production assembly laboratories and various storage facilities.

• Whole Foods Market, South Beach – renovation of an existing 22,000ft2 operating supermarket and included upgrades reconfiguration of back of house and sales floor areas, in addition to exterior and site improvements. Used green building materials throughout; this is the only South Florida

• Whole Foods Market, South Beach – renovation of an existing 22,000ft2 operating supermarket and included upgrades reconfiguration of back of house and sales floor areas, in addition to exterior and site improvements. Used green building materials throughout; this is the only South Florida supermarket to use solar panels to supplement 30% of the electricity used on peak days. 

• Epic Hotel + Condominium – provided detailed construction coordination and quality control services for owner/contractor CMC Construction. Developed architectural shop drawings for field use and provided coordination of all design consultants’ and sub-contractor shop drawings on this 55-storey condo/hotel project in downtown Miami. This was a 200+million project. 

• Westside 1 – schematic design of an 81,000ft2 store for Whole Foods Market in an evolving industrial district in Miami Beach. Project included an elevated parking structure for over 295 cars, in addition to 

special treatment of exterior elements and neighborhood street improvements. Merger with Wild Oats led to project being abandoned for the existing South Beach location. 

• Grovenor Condominium – provided detailed construction coordination and quality control services for owner/contractor CMC Construction. Developed architectural shop drawings for field use and provided coordination of all design consultants’ and sub-contractor shop drawings on this 32-storey condominium project in Coconut Grove. 

• Cypress Bay – design of an exclusive, five-story, 20-residence, luxury loft condominium along Sunset Canal in Miami Beach. The project broke ground but was sold soon after to another developer and the 

new architect redesigned the project.

• Signature Flight Support New Passenger Terminal and Hangar, Miami, FL. - Architectural, Engineering, and Interior Design services for a new terminal and hangar facility for Signature Flight Support at Miami International Airport. The two storey terminal is approximately 25,000ft2 and the adjacent 20,000ft2 hangar will be designed to handle aircraft up to the size of a Gulfstream-4. 

• Visa International Latin America Headquarters, Blue Lagoon, Miami, FL. - A new 6 story building 340,000ft2 corporate office complex inclusive of executive offices, a secure computer operations center and employee cafeteria. 

• Williamson Cadillac Garage and Showroom, Miami, FL. - A new 4-level, 750 feet long, 170,000 ft2 corporate headquarters, new and used car inventory storage, sales and maintenance facility on a 2acre site. The new facility replaces a 5-acre complex. All functions, including new and used car inventory (structured parking for 375 cars), 2 story showroom, service write-up area, offices, sales boutique and 32 bay service areas, are contained in the structural envelope. 

• Publix Supermarket, Miami Shores, FL. - A new 51,000ft2 Publix Supermarket located in Miami Shores, Florida. The project was completed through a complicated fast track multi-phase process including programming and design; demolition of existing facility; and construction of new facility. The facility will be used as a new prototype for Publix with the integration of rooftop parking. 

• City of Sunny Isles Beach Government Center and Tony Roma’s, Sunny Isles Beach, FL. - The Government Center includes a public library, U.S. Postal drop-off station, council chambers, Sunny Isles Police Headquarters, and executive governing offices. In a unique development agreement with the owner of the site, the City is responsible for the development of a separate 8500ft2 restaurant for Tony Roma’s Restaurant. Both facilities are accessed through a common shared access drive with parking demands being satisfied by a new 200 car parking garage incorporated into the Government Center building structure.

This Toronto based, Series B, proptech startup providing home renovation design services in the US market offered an exciting opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team redefining the home renovation experience. Working in close collaboration with the Design Lead and Director of Design & Architecture, was integral to defining the current, more efficient design processes, as well as QA/QC tools and content, graphic standards development, and technical design support documents. Leading an operations team of 2-6 Building Technologists, provided 1 on 1 support to direct reports and other design team members to develop their skills and knowledge in home renovation design, and supported their professional growth. Leveraging my extensive experience in home design and renovation, the team was able to expand design services to projects of greater scope and complexity, resulting in increased revenue per project. Construction work was focused primarily in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and required familiarity with the California Building Code, local municipal codes, as well as CA Title 24.

• Mas Residence, Coconut Grove (Miami) and Pinecrest, FL – renovations to an existing 17,000 ft2 modern residence in Miami and design of a new 16,000 ft2 private residence in Pinecrest, Florida for the same client, Jorge Mas (CEO MasTec).

• Grove at Grand Bay Upper Penthouse South, Coconut Grove (Miami), FL – a complete interior design of a 12,000 ft2 condominium penthouse and roof terrace in the Grove at Grand Bay in Miami for the developer Terra Group.

• Gidney Building, Miami Beach, FL – building shell renovation of an historic, Mid-Century Modern bank building for owner, Pacific Star Capital, in the North Beach neighbourhood of Miami Beach. Scope of work included preparing separate tenant spaces and servicing for future bank tenant and future cafe and office tenants.

• Additionally, we have carried out miscellaneous professional services for Whole Foods Market Group, Carnival Cruises, and Pacific Star Capital.
